Choosing the Right Ad Account Type:
When submitting your request, you can choose between:
Whitehat Ad Accounts → Used for advertising products and services that fully comply with Meta's advertising policies.
Recommended for compliant campaigns with low policy risk.
Grayhat / Blackhat Ad Accounts → Used for advertising products that do not comply with Meta's advertising policies.
These accounts are intended for experienced advertisers running higher-risk or restricted offers.
Connect a pixel to your ad account (optional but recommended)
Watch this video: Connecting a profile/pixel to the ad account
While you can start advertising without connecting a pixel, it is recommended for better tracking and optimization.
To assign a profile and pixel to your advertising account before running ads:
Add your profile to the Business Manager (BM)
Assign a Profile to an Ad Account:
Open Business Settings in Facebook Business Manager.
Navigate to Ad Accounts and select the relevant account.
Click Assign People, then select the profile you want to give access to this ad account.
💡 Tip: To reduce the risk of restrictions on your profiles, it’s recommended to assign access to only one profile at a time. Avoid assigning multiple profiles simultaneously to prevent account restrictions.
Confirm Assignment: After selecting the profile, click Assign to complete the process.
Assign a Pixel to an Ad Account:
Find the pixel you want to assign and click on it.
Click Assign People, then choose the profile you want to give access to this pixel.
Define access level (Full Control or Partial Access) for chosen profile.
4. Attach Pixel to the Ad Account:
Go to Assign Assets and select the ad account to which you want to attach the pixel.
Click Edit, select the ad account, and click Assign.
Once the pixel is assigned to both the profile and the ad account, go to Ads Manager. You will now see the pixel and ad account displayed in the relevant sections, where you can choose which one to use for your ads.
🌱 Warming Up Your New Ad Account
To ensure stability and reduce the risk of restrictions, we strongly recommend warming up new ad accounts before launching at full scale.
Here’s a simple warm-up plan:
Day 1: Launch 1 engagement campaign
Day 2: Launch 1 sales campaign
Day 3: Run 3 sales campaigns
Day 4+: You can begin running 5+ campaigns per day, scaling gradually from here
⚠️ Avoid launching high volumes of campaigns or making aggressive edits on the first few days — steady activity helps build platform trust.
