🧭 Navigating Business Settings in Meta Business Manager: A Quick Guide

This guide provides an overview of key functionalities and frequently misunderstood features in Meta Business Manager. Whether you're new or need a refresher, here’s everything you need to know to manage your business settings effectively.

If you need to manage Users in Business Settings, please do the following:

  • To manage profiles in your Business Manager, go to Users > People.'

  • If you need to invite a new profile:

    • Click Invite People and enter the email address of the person you want to add.✉️

      Most of the time, the invitation needs to be approved by another admin. ✅

    • To accept the invitation, go to Requests > Access Review and click Accept.

    • The invited user will receive an email to complete the process and join your Business Manager. 📧

To Assign Profiles to Ad Accounts Safely, please do the following:

  • Go to Accounts > Ad Accounts to:

    • View and manage all linked ad accounts. 📊

      KINDLY NOTE! Pages linked to personal profiles don’t automatically appear in BM. However, users with page access can still create ads and manage campaigns.

    • Locate your Ad Account ID for troubleshooting.

    • Assign people to manage campaigns:

      • Click Assign People and add people:

      • While assigning the desired person to your Ad account page, make sure you have Manage Campaigns option toggled:

        KINDLY NOTE! It is highly recommended to assign one person at a time to reduce restriction risks. ⚠️

Here is what you need to do to ensure effective management of Data Sources and Pixels:

  • Go to Data Sources -> DataSets

  • To assign a person to the pixel, please press Assign People:

  • From there you may also select person's you would like to assign to the pxiel from the list:

  • Also it is vital to connect Ad Accounts to the pixel, by pressing Assign assets:

  • After you selected a proper assets, click Add button to confirm slection:
